Today, with nearly one million annual visitors, this island located off the tip of Manhattan serves as an ideal testbed due to its mix of historic and modern structures and high public visitation.
Mira Intel is extending its infrastructure intelligence work to the Brooklyn Army Terminal, a large adaptive-reuse industrial campus in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Once a major military supply hub, the site now serves as a model for adaptive reuse and urban resiliency.
With active freight access and modernized facilities, the BAT provides a real-world environment for testing scalable, data-driven infrastructure solutions that extend asset lifespan and improve operational efficiency.
